For the past 21 years, downtown Phoenix has hosted the Southwest’s largest Cinco de Mayo festival, and this year it promises to be just as lively, educational and fun-filled! While the event commemorates Mexico’s victory over the French at the historic 1826 Battle of Puebla, it has also become a celebration of Mexican American culture, so get ready to enjoy ballet folklorico and other traditional dance performances, great Mexican food, an exciting Lucha Libre competition, and concerts from popular artists like Los Lobos and Ozomatli!
